Dear Sir,

It is my belief that you should not cut down the tree. I realize this is your job, but you need to find another one.  Since cutting down trees is bad for the environment and the planet.

Did you know many animals live in trees? Bees have their hives in trees. If they don’t have hives, they can’t pollinate flowers.  Maybe you don’t think flowers are important but everything is connected so it is. For instance, we get oxygen from trees. We need this.

I understand you may not have thought about the future. But what will happen when all the trees are cut down? There will be no rainforest and no animals there. In addition, your children won’t get to look at trees. And they won’t get to see all the colorful animals because they will be extinct.

If you cut down this tree you will kill the rainforest. Finally, you should stop cutting down trees. In addition to this you should help save the rainforest and protect the animals.

Dear Sleeping Man,

It is my belief that you should not chop down the great Kapok tree.   I will tell you why not.  The rainforest is home to many plants and animals if you chop down trees they will die.  There are many cures for diseases in the rainforest that we maybe don’t even know about yet.  The rainforest is beautiful and it is important for our planet for reasons like air.

          My first reason is that many animals live in the rainforest like jaguars, sloth, monkeys, birds, and more.  Some people also live there too like the little boy.  They need a home to have.  Everybody should have a home so you should not chop down theirs. 

          Second there are many cures for diseases in the rainforest that we need to find.  You don’t want to get cancer and not have a cure because it was in the kapok tree do you?  You should leave the rainforest alone so that the doctors can go in and find the cures that the sick people need. 

Third the rainforest is beautiful and is important for the Earth for reasons like air.  The rainforest is the lungs of the Earth.  It changes bad air to good so that we can breathe even though it is far away.  Air is important for every person. 

I know that you have possible objections like it is your job to chop down the tree but you should find another job that is better.  We need to have rainforests.  They are important for the reasons above. 

To be sure you should not chop down the rainforest.
