PROJECT INFORMATION
The
term cyberlesson was coined by Dr.
Susan Tancock at Ball State University in Indiana. It is an Internet methods
framework that guides students through the reading of text by
-
Activating and building background knowledge in order to use what is known and
to better predict what is to come (BEFORE READING STRATEGIES)
-
Setting a purpose for tracking information in a text in order to monitor
comprehension (DURING READING STRATEGIES)
-
Revisiting texts in order to think more deeply about them (AFTER READING
STRATEGIES)
-
Extending one’s knowledge about an aspect of a story (BEYOND READING
STRATEGIES)
OBJECTIVES OF CYBERLESSON INTERNET PROJECT

To develop and share cyberlessons that are integral to one’s
ongoing curriculum

that Internet Projects hold for them
