Course Description:

Reading and Writing as Integrated Process ~ Fall. Prereq.: RDG 412 or 589, and admission to 6th year or Ed.D. program.  Integration of theories, practices, and techniques as related to reading-writing in the elementary school. Students, in conjunction with the instructor, design lessons that integrate language arts, across the curriculum making use of multiple modalities, and derived from professional standards, literature and research.
