The Advocate for Reading Professionals Award recognizes individuals and/or organizations who have, through their advocacy, made significant literacy contributions in the Greater Connecticut Area. Contributions may be in the areas of professional service, teaching, research, writing, and policy development. The award is presented annually at the Literacy Essentials Conference.
